The newest addition to the mandigo product family, the bibchip gen2 system, is a small lightweight system that is incredibly versatile. If you are in the market for a system that offers optimal performance with a core set of built-in features, the bibchip is the right choice for you.

The bibchip taggy is the central control unit, to which 8 floor antennas will be connected over. It saves the data transmitted by the transponders together with the corresponding time. This data can be read out at any time on the different interfaces. The taggy is the backbone of all our timekeeping units. The data collected provides the basis for improved services to the marathon runner: before, during and after the event.

The Taggy is the central control unit, to which 2 different antennas will be connected. It saves the data transmitted by the transponders together with the corresponding time. This data can be read out at any time on one of the two RS232 interfaces.
Antennas:
The antennas are used for the reception and transmission of energy and data. One the one side the ground antenna emits energy, which “awakes” the transponders located in the field, on the other side the receiving antenna receives the data transmit¬ted by the transponders.

bibchip System
Bibchip aerials LRG serve sending and receive of energy and data. On the one hand, the energy with which in the field located bibchip are supplied is radiated by the aerials, on the other hand the information sent out by the transponders will conceive of the aerials.

The Taggy is the central control unit, to which different antennas will be connected over a Power-Splitter. It saves the data transmitted by the transponders together with the corresponding time. This data can be read out at any time on the different interfaces.
Power Splitter:
The Power-Splitter distributes the output power of the Taggy to the connected antennas and di-rects the signals received by the antenna back to the Taggy. Furthermore the Power-Splitter con-tains a pow¬er measuring device, which shows in a display the power emitted by the Taggy and reflected by the antennas. The reflected power enables an evaluation of the adjustment of the an-tennas, defective cables or not connected plugs.

Near Field Reader
HF Multi ISO Desktop Reader
The HF Multi ISO Short Range USB Desktop Reader is an  RFID Read/ Write module. The reader works with almost every ISO14443 A/B, ISO15693, ISO18000-3, NFC and EPC RFID-Transponder.
Housing and interface:
The reader is integrated in a robust housing. The communication is based on a USB 2.0 interface.

Firmware update:
